WALLEX Coarse Putty is water resistant white cement based wall putty ideally developed to be applied on plastered / concrete walls and ceiling to cover pinholes, pores and unevenness on plastered surface and make the wall/ceiling white, smooth and leveled. WALLEX Wall Care Coarse Putty contains finest quality white cement, polymers and minerals It is extra durable and has better bonding compared to other conventional products like Lime plaster, Gypsum and P.O.P.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
• Clean loose particles, dirt, grease and traces of foreign material from the surface, if necessary, by using sand paper or by chipping.
• For loose plaster areas, remove the defective material and re-plaster the area with Mega Crete Ready-Mix Plaster.
• For ceilings/walls, which are not even, re-plaster it with cement mortar mixing
• Wallex SBR LATEX 1000 for extra bonding.
• Fill up any cracks in base plaster. Use mixture of Wallex Coarse Putty adding Wallex SBR LATEX 1000 for bridging cracks
Mix Wallex PUTTY in a clean bucket with 30 to 40% of clean water. It is very important that Wall Putty is to be added in water and not vice versa.
Stir continuously by using an electric mixer or by hand to obtain a homogeneous lump-free paste.
Allow the paste to settle for about 10 minutes for the additives to dissolve. Re-mix again.
The mixture is now ready. Use the mix within 30 minutes
• Dampen the surface to be plastered with clean water. Allow excess water to drain off.
• Apply one coat of the above paste on to the substrate with Putty blade or trowel.
• The thickness allowed in one coat application is 3-4 mm.
• Ensure that the second coat application should be done when the first coat is totally dried. The second coat can be done with Wallex Coarse Putty OR fine Putty .
• Always prepare a required quantity of putty paste.
